The Beginning...

Picked up the Mini! Found a genuine 1275GT for sale on the MiniWorld web site,
the only slight problem was that the car was in Wales! Agreed a price with the
seller, hired a trailer and drove over to pick it up. Not a bad looking car, in
dark green with a white roof, all looked ok on the surface. There was some rust
coming through the o/s A panel and the floor was a little rusty, but I'll come
to that later! The engine ran, and for the price we thought we had a bargain. As
you can see from the pics below, the interior is (was!) nice, with leather look
seats, a centre console and a nice leather steering wheel - mind you the seats
and centre console have gone to someone else now!
