The Plan....
Sometime back in 2003 we (me and Lucy) wanted to get a Mini, but we decided
early on that we wanted the engine to be a bit special. We kicked about the idea
of a Metro Turbo conversion, and a 1420 'A' series, but eventually decided on a
16 Valve conversion.
What followed next was much internet research to decide what engine to put in.
The choices are Honda V-Tec (Mmmmmm....) Vauxhall 2.0 16v or a Rover 'K' series.
We have opted for the K, as it's cheaper than the rest!
